I believe our mission in life is to understand who we are at our core. To understand what our soul is guiding us to do and to do that with courage and surrender, exposing our belly to the world, so to speak, knowing that by being our truest self, we can never go wrong.
I started this piece months ago. I couldn't get myself to move forward with it, because honestly, I wasn't passionate about the vision I was holding for it. I didn't know which direction to take it, and I couldn't stomach painting something that felt...well, boring!
Last night, right after praying for clarity in my work and before dosing off, I envisioned this color story and fell in love with the feeling of it. And when I know the feeling of something, I know I'm on the right track.
So, here's to not settling for what doesn't ignite us! For what doesn't feel electric and awaken the soul! Here's to living in our spark!
